RÖDER Zeltsysteme und Service AG is active worldwide as a leading company in the manufacture, sale and rental of party tents, large tents, storage tents and lightweight structures in the premium quality segment. With self-supporting structures having span widths of up to 60 metres, there are practically no limits to design options.
When holding business, political, sporting and culture events, additional space is often required on short notice. For events, fairs and exhibitions, as flexible sales or storage space or as hospital or housing facilities in disaster relief – RÖDER tent systems reliably provide customised temporary space the world over.
Founded in Büdingen in 1959, RÖDER has established branches in China, England, France, Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey and in the meantime become a global player. With a team of more than 450 employees, tent rental capacity of some 500,000 m² and a complete line of services for events, including decorations, heating and air conditioning systems and lighting, RÖDER has advanced to become a specialist for large events. The focus of event services at RÖDER is on the market in customised premium-quality structures for sports and corporate events. In this segment, RÖDER tents serve as press centres, hospitality areas, conference rooms and meeting facilities.
In recognition of our successful tent-event projects, RÖDER Zelt- und Veranstaltungsservice GmbH has been awarded International Achievement Awards by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) for more than 20 years.
Business:
The spatial surroundings and above all the atmosphere of the venue play a considerable role in presentations of products and services or in setting the festive mood at company anniversary celebrations. Storage space: RÖDER tent systems also meet temporary requirements in the way of production, workshop, assembly or storage facilities. With our full line of furnishings, storage tents can be adapted as customised space solutions, becoming conventional warehouses, waiting rooms, garages, discount market halls, schools and training rooms or storage and office space. It is additionally possible to combine space types and furnish them specifically to requirements or when changing locations.
Sports:
RÖDER too trusts in teamwork, whether within the company’s own team or when working with our partners, to successfully carry out events in all sports disciplines: Olympic Games, World and European Football Championships, World Equestrian Championships, UEFA Champions League Finals, World Skiing or Track and Field Championships...
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, for instance, more than 500 RÖDER tents were erected covering total floor space of well over 30,000 m². The largest ensemble of tents in the Olympic Village (100x150m) was used as a restaurant with a seating capacity of 15,000 for the athletes and officials. At the Beijing Games, RÖDER again supplied the expertise gathered in previous events by erecting the world’s largest restaurant with a total area of 18,500 m² – in addition to hundreds of large and small tents. RÖDER has also been present in motor sports for decades: Formula1 Paddock Club, Germany Touring Car Masters (DTM), FIA World Rallye Championship (WRC), 24 hour races – RÖDER tent systems are found alongside the world’s most important motor sports circuits.
Political events:
When the heads of state of the European nations meet for an EU summit or the presidents of the SCO member states gather for their annual meeting, RÖDER tents are there, serving as press centres, conference rooms and meeting facilities.
